交流会です！
What’s Little Japan?
毎週日曜にカフェで気軽な雑談をしているグループです。参加者は回によってバラツキはありますが日本人が半分くらい。あとフィリピン人３割で残りは他の国の人です。
仕事や留学でマニラに来た人や観光の人もいます。情報収集や友達作り、あるいは言語交換の相手を探したり。オープンな交流会なので様々な目的で来るかとは思いますが語学留学でマニラを訪れた中学生とその親が参加するほど健全なグループだと思います。
海外で暮らす日本人にとって『そこにいけば日本語で話ができる』って安心できる場所を願う有志によって作られ続いています。

We are a group that meets for casual conversations every Sunday at a café.
The number of participants varies each time, but about half are Japanese. Around 30% are Filipinos, and the rest are from other countries.
It’s a casual chat group with no specific theme, so feel free to join, whether you’re interested in Japanese culture or studying Japanese.
It’s also perfectly fine if you don’t speak Japanese.
SYSTEM
交流会の流れを説明します。まず最初に自己紹介をして５人くらいのグループに分かれ４セッションの雑談タイムです。各セッションは約13分で前半２セッションは英語、後半２セッションは日本語です。ただし日本語を話さない人もいるので後半も英語のテーブルは残します。
毎回シャッフルして多くの人と話せるようにしています。最後に集合写真を撮って終了です。多くの人は終了後も残って雑談しています。
また参加者のみのLINEグループもありそこでも情報交換をしていてイベントを企画することもあります。 参加費はP20で主にmeetup.comのシステム利用料とカフェへのチップ代としています。
The meetup will start with self-introductions, followed by splitting into groups of about five. There will be four 13-minute chat sessions: the first two in English, and the last two in Japanese. Since some participants don't speak Japanese, we’ll keep some English tables during the second half.
Groups are shuffled each time to maximize interaction. Afterward, we’ll take a group photo, and many people stay to chat more. We also have a LINE group for participants to exchange information and plan events. The fee is P20, covering the meetup.com system fee and a tip for the café.
